Bioburger was founded in 2011 by 2 young entrepreneurs passionate about food culture. The goal was to change the fast-food universe and promote organic food differently, through a very popular and loved dish: the hamburger. From the very beginning, the brand specialised in gourmet burgers (with 50% of the offer for vegetarians) is the only 100% organic fast food in France. Having similar values and philosophy, Biocoop approached Bioburger in 2018 and is a minority shareholder today. The brand is now developping franchises (1 franchise as of today), on top of the 3 main restaurants located in Paris and La Défense. In 2022, Bioburger aims at managing 30 restaurants, 80% of them being franchises.
