Created in 2016 near the Gare de Lyon, the Social Bar is a laboratory of conviviality, festivities and solidarity! This is the answer to the question: how can a bar allow people who don't know each other to talk to each other, celebrate together in a spirit of solidarity? It is therefore a warm place where everyone meets thanks to a friendly welcome, icebreaker games and an intense and original program with more than 250 events organized in 2 years. The Social Bar also has the mission of boosting and promoting the social and solidarity economy. Each Social Bar undertakes to donate 15 to 50% of its profits to associations. And it works! Thanks to a community of 175 co-owners, the Social Bar is the winner of the Paris social and solidarity economy trophy, already twice winner of the "favourite Parisian bar" competition by Time Out, the second best rated bar in Paris on Google, profitable from its second year, with a constantly increasing turnover. It works so well that the Social bar will triple the size of its historic premises.

To become co-owner of the Social Bar and participate in a social, sociable and solidarity adventure, invest in!

3 founders, 5 employees, 8 friendly workers and 175 co-investors.

David, Renaud and Maeva's paths crossed at Mouves (Mouvement des entrepreneurs sociaux)! Together they noticed that the bars had forgotten to be real meeting places and decided to join forces to create a social and sociable bar. Graduate from EDHEC, Renaud Seligmann is the inventor of the Social Bar concept and co-founder. He already has several years of experience in microfinance, is the coordinator of the Social Entrepreneurs Movement and was Director of Communication and Social Innovation at VAE les 2 rives. At his side is David Rivoire, CEO of the Social Bar and co-founder. David is already an experienced entrepreneur as he is also CEO of VAE Les 2 Rives, a French Impact winner, a company specializing in supporting the Validation of Acquired Experience that he founded in 2002. And Maeva Tordo despite a full-time job at the Blue Factory continues to bring all her ideas! The co-founders are accompanied by 175 men and women, from 20 to 68 years old, who have invested to have a piece of the counter and be a bit of a co-owner of the Social Bar.
