Created in 2016 near  Gare de Lyon in Paris, the Social Bar is a laboratory of conviviality, festivities and solidarity! It's the answer to two questions: How can a bar allow people who don't know each other and who don't necessarily look alike to talk and party together? How to reconcile in an economic model : impact, profitability and solidarity? It is therefore a laboratory place where you can live a unique experience that you can't find in any other bar! You will meet "conviviality host" who will welcome you and put you at ease, you will discover original party concepts and ice-breaking games. Above all, you will be able to become co-patron by getting involved in the adventure and have lots of privileges, such as getting behind the bar! Also: 15% of the profits are donated to local associations! The Social Bar with its success in Paris with its 530 co-owner shareholders, its Trophy of the social and solidarity economy of Paris won in 2018, its victory in the contest of "favorite bar of Parisians" organized by Time Out wants to continue to spread conviviality in France and has chosen Strasbourg as its first opening! Charlotte and Pauline, the two highly motivated future co-managers, want to recreate the essence of the Social Bar in Strasbourg while bringing their own touch of originality. The Social Bar Strasbourg will be a real sharing space of more than 250m2 refurbished and will open its doors in May.

2 founders, 7 future employees, 10 conviviality host and soon a lot of co-patrons.

The founders, Charlotte Plancquaert and Pauline Thos, met each other by chance at a yoga class to start the Social Bar Strasbourg adventure. From this coincidence, common values and desires will emerge, including the crazy idea of having a bar one day. Both coming from business schools but with different professional backgrounds have been able to combine their strengths to form an amazing duo. Charlotte, turned towards the social and solidarity economy by working in start-up incubators, has developed skills in project management, communication and logistics. She is able to manage three conversations and forty emails and text messages at a time! Pauline, a businesswoman at heart and passionate about gastronomy, will draw on her knowledge of team management, operational management and B to B relations to complement Charlotte's talents. After meeting Matthieu, Renaud and David they fall in love with the project and decide to set up the Social Bar in Strasbourg.
